Phase 1:
A
potential customer calls O’Grady’s Landscape to schedule a design
consultation. We will have a brief conversation with you to discuss
your location and what you would like to do. This will help to
ensure that what we sell and what you want to buy are a match.
Phase 2:
One of
our sales staff will meet with the potential client, walk through
the property and discuss the job. We break jobs down into projects,
so that when the customer gets our proposal they are not faced with
an all or nothing proposition. They could, for instance, move
forward with a patio and a water feature, but not the new front
walk. During this phase we will determine what kind of plan is
necessary for your job. There are two basic formats for estimates
described in Phase 3.
Phase 3:
Simple
plan:
Most estimates consist of three or four written projects with one or
two thumbnail sketches. These estimates are free of charge, and
usually delivered within a week.
Master
plan:
When a master plan is needed, a second design consultation will be
scheduled with our landscape designer. The designer will produce a
large scale drawing of your entire property which will encompass all
of your needs. Master plans usually cost about $1000. We will
produce a detailed written estimate from the master plan.
Phase 4:
If the
proposal is accepted, we will schedule your work. We can usually
start jobs in four to six weeks, depending on their size and scope. |
